Leaders cannot delegate social mission to 'somewhere else' in the business. There's pressure coming from the digital world, from shareholders, investors, workforce and government. Leaders can no longer afford for social mission to be done on the side; it has to be built into the core model.

At some point, if this kind of technological progress continues, it would seem that our descendants will become entirely digital: uploads or artificial intellects implemented on computers. At that point, it is possible that evolutionary selection will again become an important driver of change—but not necessarily of change for the better.

If Greece gets serious about privatisation, reducing the state sector and collecting existing taxes... if these things are done, whilst also reducing democracy? Then I believe Greece will emerge as a very significant success story. It could get the primary deficit eliminated in two years- creating a surplus.

Rather than recruiting someone who assumes they've mastered it all, we seek those who regard their roles with awe. It's essential for us that they are moved by our journey and mission, and harbor an eagerness to learn, not just contribute.

The definition of 'purpose' can be questioning, 'What am I doing that's greater than myself? What am I a part of that's bigger than just me?' We now know the most sustainable form of meaningful happiness comes to purpose.
