The discovery of new cosmic truths doesn't negate our prior understanding. For instance, despite Einstein's theory of relativity extending beyond the scope of Newton's laws, the latter will remain as valid a million years from now as they are today.

When I decided to climb Everest, the reason was simply to draw attention to what was happening with the glaciers but also, when I talked about sustainability, it was hard to keep people's attention. You start talking and 5 minutes later, it's an abstract topic. The audience start checking their emails or yawning, and this really frustrated me.

Once you have transparency on impact, why would you tax all companies for the damage caused by some? You would tax the ones who create the damage. I hope we therefore shift to a fairer taxation system that improves the position of governments.
