Birds are not born with an innate genetically determined knowledge of constellations. What they do has been brilliantly shown in an experiment by Stephen Emlen. Birds learn when they're young to look at this night sky and learn which bits of the sky don't rotate.

Backlash is sadly an intrinsic part of social progress. When oppressed people make their claim for justice, they trigger a response – a fightback by those who want to maintain the status-quo.

The visibility of hedge fund managers, particularly 'star' managers of large and/or successfully performing funds, will increase to a larger and broader audience in the same manner that mutual fund managers became celebrities in the 1990s.

The story is told sincerely, but the cumulative effect is misleading – a subconsciously organised trick.
